Today is National Popcorn Day!

I’ve been a Popcorn eater for so many years. I love popcorn! I can eat popcorn every day, every week and all year long! I’m dead serious. I’m a self-admitted popcorn addict, and I’m not addicted to any popcorn, I’m addicted to my spicy popcorn. The only one I crave every night of the week. The one I would never get tired of eating and the one I eat with no class like someone who didn’t eat for months!

So, I’ve been planning this blog post for a long time now, and today I’m finally sharing my spicy “addictive” popcorn recipe! If you like spicy food, you’ll see! You will crave the spicy sauce every damn day! Be ready!

1/4 cup unpopped kernels

1 tbsp melted coconut oil (you can use 1/2 tbsp if you want to cut down on the calories)

1/8 tsp chipotle salt (or sea salt or Himalayan pink salt)

1/8 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp Chipotle powder

1/4 tsp Chili powder

1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika

Optional: Nutritional yeast


Pop the kernels in an air popper (or on the stovetop, if you prefer). Meanwhile, mix in a small bowl the spices with the coconut oil. Adjust the salt if needed. Pour the spicy sauce on top of your popcorn and mix. Optional: sprinkle nutritional yeast on top of the popcorn. Enjoy eating it with no class!
