For Day 2, we went for brunch in the morning, shot content then we went to (and changed outfit!) Ladurée for an Aperol Spritz and macarons break and we headed over to Pier59 Studios to attend a fashion show. We shot more content after and went back to our Air bnb to relax and eat dinner.
We stopped by Winky Lux for a photo op! Couldn’t resist the flower wall!
What we ate
On Saturday, we decided at the last minute in the cab to go to The Butcher’s Daughter but it was pretty busy. So, we searched around and found this cute place The Sosta. For dinner, we went to Leuca at The William Vale hotel and then went on the rooftop to admire the beautiful view!
On Sunday, we chose this vegan diner in Brooklyn that I went to two years ago. Again, it was very busy so while we waited for our table, we got a snack aka a donut at Dun-Well Doughnuts. I actually got a box of 4 because I wanted to try more than one flavor!!
Day 3: It was the “take it easy” day for us. The weather was shitty, it rained non-stop and, we planned to shoot content in Dumbo. So, we stopped by Dun-Well Doughnuts and Champs Diner in Brooklyn for a big breakfast and brunch. We went to Dumbo and tried to get the “famous” shot in front of the bridge but under the rain (it wasn’t easy!).
Before we left for Montreal, we went to Trader Joe’s to get snacks (I basically did my groceries shopping for the week!) and now I’m also obsessed with the Everything but bagel seasoning!
We learned so much from this NYFW season. For me, it was all about the experience and putting myself out there. Next NYFW, we know what to do and what not to do! I’m excited to do it all over again but not during winter season! We’ll see!
