If you’ve been following my Instagram feed lately, you’ve noticed how much I love pink details. The holiday season is usually all about red, green, gold and silver. But I like a little hint of pink during yuletide (My Christmas tree is white with pink and gold ornaments!). So for my holiday look, I decided to go with a pink velvet dress.
When it’s time to dress up for Christmas Eve dinner with my family, I like to wear something chic and comfortable. If you’re like me, you want your holiday dress to be perfect for the occasion. It should have long sleeves so you’re not too cold. It should also be loose enough so that you can eat as much as you want without seeing your bloated belly through the dress. Your outfit shouldn’t be too revealing either (a big no-no for décolletés ).
And an added bonus with my pick is the pink velvet! This dress is also a good choice for an office party. It’s trendy but not too chic, and conservative enough for your coworkers and boss.
I paired the dress with Zara Pointed Mid-Heel Shoes and lace jewel socks from Urban Outfitters. I really like the see-through sparkly socks with a pair of shoes, it adds a really fun touch to the whole outfit.
